MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin — The United States is set to roll out decisive trade countermeasures within the next few weeks to address systemic overproduction in China, Japan, and other key manufacturing hubs. In a high-profile briefing, U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer told Nikkei Asia that Washington remains resolute, declaring that the nation “will not sit idly by while excess production inflows distort global markets.”
