Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) has expanded its finance and capital markets expertise in the APAC region by appointing partner Xuan Jin in Hong Kong.
Jin joins the firm from White & Case, where he spent a decade in various leadership roles, including serving as a local partner in both Hong Kong and Singapore. His previous experience includes serving as an associate in Dubai for White & Case, following a tenure at Clifford Chance from 2009 to 2015.
Dual-qualified in England & Wales and Hong Kong, Jin specializes in debt capital markets and structured finance products. His expertise encompasses public and private credit, liability management, and sustainable finance, including sustainability-linked and Islamic finance instruments.
Bringing nearly 20 years of professional experience, Jin advises multinational corporations, governments, and financial institutions on intricate cross-border financing, capital markets, and regulatory issues throughout North and Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
In his new role at WFW, Jin will provide strategic support to clients within the energy, infrastructure, and transport sectors.
