Full-service accountancy firm Wbg Tax anticipates a 30% increase in tax fee revenue following the launch of a new VAT advisory service and expanded regional operations. The company reports consistent annual revenue growth of 10–15%, driving strategic investments in service diversification and leadership expansion—from one tax partner to three.
The growth trajectory has enabled Wbg to recruit senior professionals, including corporate tax partner Shehzad Ashaq and VAT specialist Keith Miller. Miller’s appointment strengthens the firm’s expertise in complex VAT scenarios, including land and property transactions, cross-border operations, and financial services M&A.
CEO Catherine McManus credited private equity investment from N4 Partners with facilitating market expansion into Glasgow, Edinburgh, Ayrshire, Lanarkshire, Manchester, and Dublin. She emphasized the importance of this geographical reach for supporting multinational clients operating in multiple jurisdictions.
“Keith’s deep experience with industry-specific VAT challenges establishes new standards for our clients,” McManus noted. Her statement highlighted how the firm’s enhanced capabilities address the needs of owner-operated businesses, multinational groups, and private clients alike.
The leadership trio now oversees operations covering corporate tax strategy, international transaction planning, and SME advisory services. McManus concluded that this investment in specialized knowledge positions Wbg to deliver “practical, commercial support” while maintaining agility in competitive markets. Future plans include additional specialist service lines to support sustained growth.
