A man faces multiple charges following a vehicle collision that struck several pedestrians on a busy street in West London.

The Metropolitan Police announced on Sunday that 34-year-old Timir Ahmed Mohamed has been charged with five counts of attempted murder. Additionally, he faces charges of dangerous driving, failing to stop at the scene, failing to provide a breath sample, and criminal damage.

The incident occurred in Ealing Broadway at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, resulting in injuries to five pedestrians. While two individuals received medical treatment at the scene, three others were transported to the hospital; all injuries were reported as non-life-threatening and non-life-changing.

Mohamed, a British national born in Somalia, has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Monday. Although London’s Counter-Terrorism Command assisted with the initial investigation, authorities have confirmed the incident is not being treated as a terrorist attack.
