His latest single, “Candy Corn,” is a relaxed, indie-country track produced by Brad Cook. The song explores the complexities of nostalgia and the passage of time, with Thomas noting that the track is his most ambitious attempt to reflect on the sensations of youth from the perspective of an aging songwriter.
The accompanying music video for “Candy Corn” features comedian Joe Pera and actress Carmen Christopher (known for The Bear and Shrill).
