Willow Nightingale and the Brawling Birds Push Women’s Blood & Guts Match Official After AEW Collision

The teams set for the Women’s Blood & Guts match were made official during Saturday’s live episode of AEW Collision on TNT and HBO Max.

The matchup between Divine Dominion’s Megan Bayne and Lena Kross and the Wrathlander’s Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron ended in a no-contest after the Triangle of Madness attacked Cameron and Statlander. Willow Nightingale then intervened with a steel chain, sending the heels out of the ring.

The road to the match began with a backstage segment on last week’s Dynamite, where a brawl involved all the women except Nightingale.

The Men’s Blood & Guts team was made official on last week’s Dynamite after Kazuchika Okada struck Adam Copeland with the International Title while the referee was distracted, allowing Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher to defeat AEW World Champion Copeland. The returning Steve Borden then came out with Darby Allin, saying he was back for Blood & Guts.

Later in the show, during a backstage segment, Don Callis accepted the challenge and it was announced that the match would be made official: Will Ospreay, Adam Copeland, Steve Borden, The Young Bucks, and Darby Allin against The Don Callis Family (Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, Wardlow, Kevin Knight, Mark Davis, and Jake Doyle).

AEW Dynamite Blood & Guts takes place on November 4, from the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida, airing live on TBS and HBO Max, beginning at 8:00 pm ET.
