Hayward said that Rodrigo Gomes is making progress, though it remains early in his recovery. He sustained damage to a couple of ankle ligaments, making the injury more complex than a simple sprain.
He added that Gomes is awaiting the reduction of inflammation before rehabilitation can intensify. The issue is not expected to be long‑term, and a return to play is anticipated in the near future.
Regarding Bertrand Traore, Hayward noted a hamstring strain located in a tricky area of the muscle, which has a tendency to recur if managed hastily. While the injury is minor, the club will take a cautious approach; Traore is training diligently and should be back soon.
Boubacar Traore missed a couple of weeks with a calf problem. He has resumed training with the rehab staff, is responding well to treatment, and is expected to rejoin full training within the next one to two weeks.
Wolves currently sit ninth in the Championship, just outside the playoff positions on goal difference, and will travel to face Burnley on Friday evening.
