Wrexham Secure Callum O’Hare and Joe Worrall Ahead of Transfer Deadline<br>

<p>Wrexham announced the signings of midfielder Callum O’Hare from Sheffield United and defender Joe Worrall from Burnley ahead of the transfer deadline on Tuesday.</p>
<p>Both transfers were completed for undisclosed fees; O’Hare signed a three‑year contract with an optional extension for an additional year.</p>
<p>The club said Worrall signed a two‑year contract with an optional one‑year extension, accompanied by a transfer fee of approximately $2.7 million and a potential total value of up to $9.4 million, per ESPN.</p>
<p>O’Hare, 28, contributed eight goals in 45 league appearances during the previous season. He joined Sheffield United in July 2024 after four years with Coventry City and has missed only three Championship matches in the last two seasons.</p>
<p>“Wrexham is widely recognized,” O’Hare said. “The club’s ambitious direction aligns perfectly with my desire to be part of a team striving for success. I am genuinely excited.”</p>
<p>I spent my vacation in Los Angeles, where I became aware of Wrexham’s strong reputation. I was eager to join the club and look forward to beginning this new chapter.</p>

<p>Worrall, 29, has featured in 26 matches across all competitions since his arrival at Burnley in summer 2024. He recorded 11 Premier League appearances last season but has been an unused substitute in the first three Championship fixtures of the current campaign.</p>
<p>I am thrilled to begin working with talented players, the manager, and the ownership,” Worrall said. “My goal is to help the team win matches and accomplish something remarkable.”</p>

<p>Worrall and O’Hare represent the sixth and seventh signings in Wrexham’s busy transfer window, joining new arrivals goalkeeper Anthony Patterson, wing‑backs Danny Imray, Issa Kabore and Jacques Ekomie, and central midfielder Ben Whiteman.</p>
<p>Wrexham also confirmed that defender Dan Scarr, who made 20 league appearances for the club in the 2025‑26 season, has signed permanently with Salford City. His departure follows that of defender Conor Coady, who left the club by mutual consent on Monday.</p>
<p>The club has opened its Championship campaign with two draws and a loss. After a 2‑1 home defeat to Birmingham City, Wrexham are set to face Millwall on Wednesday.</p>
