WWE is preparing for a major return to Australia, marked by a significant new strategic partnership.
The sports entertainment giant has finalised a three-year agreement with the Western Australian Government, in collaboration with Tourism Western Australia. Under the terms of the deal, Perth will host exclusive WWE Weekend Takeovers, featuring a premier Premium Live Event annually from 2026 through 2028. The landmark partnership officially commences with the upcoming “Wrestlepalooza: Perth” event, scheduled for Saturday, December 12, at the RAC Arena.
The inaugural Weekend Takeover will pack three spectacular live shows into four action-packed days at the same arena: Friday Night SmackDown on December 11, Wrestlepalooza: Perth on Saturday, December 12, and Monday Night Raw on December 14. Beyond the core events, WWE promises a series of immersive fan experiences across the city, including interactive WWE Superstores, exclusive Superstar meet-and-greets, and community engagement activities.
