WWE SmackDown featured a highly anticipated Women’s Championship match tonight, building on the momentum from last week’s events on the blue brand.
Newly crowned Women’s United States Champion Jacy Jayne was confronted backstage by WWE Legend Paige, who challenged Jayne for a title opportunity.
The two competitors squared off in singles action, with Jayne backed by the rest of Fatal Influence. Paige controlled the early portion of the match before a ringside attack from Lainey Reid shifted momentum in Jayne’s favor.
Jayne dominated the former Anti-Diva for an extended period, but Paige turned things around with a well-timed Paige Turner. She gained control of the match and appeared poised to finish things off with the RamPaige.

However, Reid intervened once again. After Paige took her out, a second distraction from Fallon Henley allowed Jacy to roll Paige up and secure the win.
As Paige stood in the ring following her defeat, she was ambushed from behind by former ally and WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella.
Paige and Nikki had previously teamed with Brie at SummerSlam against Fatal Influence, but following their loss, Nikki turned on Paige and expelled her from their group.
Making her first appearance since SummerSlam, Nikki delivered a vicious attack on her former friend, capping it off with the Rack Attack 2.0.
