According to a report from PWInsider, Judge Andrew Cameron, who is presiding over the criminal case against WWE star Marcel Barthel (also known as El Grande Americano and Ludwig Kaiser), officially signed off Tuesday to approve a motion allowing Barthel to travel both within the United States and internationally for the duration of the case.
Barthel must appear at all future court dates and has pleaded not guilty after learning of an arrest warrant for battery charges; he turned himself in to authorities in Orange County, Florida, on May 20, 2026.
The incident occurred on April 23 at an apartment complex in Orange County. The complainant, Richard Reap, told officers that he entered an elevator around 6:30 p.m. local time and encountered Barthel with an unidentified woman. Reap alleged that Barthel and the woman were acting “uncontrollably intimate” inside the elevator.
Reap subsequently told Barthel and the woman to “please have some manners” after exiting onto the 12th floor. According to the Orlando Police Department affidavit, Barthel responded by punching Reap several times, pushing him to the ground, and threatening further harm.
Kaiser is scheduled to compete at the AAA Noche de Los Grandes event this Saturday in Mexico City, where he will face Chad Gable in a mask‑vs‑mask match.
