WWE stars Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes are bridging the gap between sports entertainment and gaming, as a new gameplay-comparison trailer offers fans an inside look at their cinematic counterparts.
The footage seamlessly juxtaposes the action from the upcoming live-action film with the iconic video game moves that inspired it.
The recently released television spot showcases a variety of signature attacks translated for the big screen. Highlights include Rhodes portraying Guile and Reigns as Akuma, allowing audiences to evaluate how faithfully the movie replicates the game’s visual aesthetic.

Rhodes embodies Guile, sporting the character’s signature blonde flat-top hairstyle. The WWE Champion executes military-style strikes, mirroring Guile’s iconic jumping kicks and his familiar Sonic Boom stance.
Reigns steps into the role of Akuma, presented with glowing eyes and a menacing aura that captures the supernatural essence of the demon warrior.
The trailer also highlights numerous other recognizable Street Fighter techniques, such as the Shoryuken, Chun-Li’s Hundred Lightning Kicks, Balrog’s Buffalo Headbutt, Dhalsim’s Yoga Mummy, and the Hundred Hand Slaps.
Directed by Kitao Sakurai and co-produced by Legendary Entertainment and Capcom, the film boasts a massive ensemble cast. Jason Momoa stars as Blanka, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson portrays Balrog, Orville Peck plays Vega, Hirooki Goto takes on E. Honda, and David Dastmalchian embodies M. Bison.
