Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso has confirmed that midfielder Romeo Lavia is available for the Premier League clash against Hull City at Stamford Bridge tomorrow.
The Blues returned to winning ways in midweek with a thumping 6–3 victory over Leeds United in the Carabao Cup third round.
Lavia missed the match due to load management and his injury history, but he is set to return for the upcoming Premier League fixture.
Speaking in his pre‑match press conference, Alonso confirmed that the Belgian midfielder is fully fit and ready to face the Tigers at home.
Hull City have surprised many since their promotion, collecting seven points from three Premier League games.
They are the only side yet to concede a goal this season, but will face a stern test against Chelsea.
Chelsea have been scoring freely this campaign and are expected to end Hull’s unbeaten run with a comfortable win.
