In Taipei, major Chinese smartphone brands such as Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo have informed suppliers of further reductions in their 2026 shipment targets, down by up to 30%, citing persistently high costs and severe component shortages that continue to impact the industry, according to sources familiar with the situation.
