The future of RB Leipzig midfielder Yan Diomande remains uncertain this summer, with multiple top European clubs showing interest in the 19-year-old talent.
While reports previously suggested Diomande had agreed personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain, Sport Bild indicates the French side is not the only club to gain the player’s approval, with Liverpool, Manchester City, and Manchester United also claiming leading positions in the pursuit.
Liverpool has made the first official approach, submitting an €80 million offer plus an additional €20 million in performance-related add-ons, which Leipzig reportedly rejected. Other interested parties are said to be preparing bids but are hesitant to exceed the €100 million threshold.
To secure a deal, Leipzig is reportedly seeking a minimum fee of €120 million, with club officials determined to retain Diomande and focusing on negotiating improved contract terms. However, the player’s recent comments during the World Cup, where he expressed intentions to leave, contradict earlier statements about staying for another season, adding complexity to the situation.
