DUBAI: The Yemeni Armed Forces said on Sunday they carried out airstrikes against Houthi targets in the northern province of Saada as part of a broader campaign against the Iran‑backed group. Army spokesman Colonel Majed Al‑Nazʾali reported that 97 precision operations targeted Houthi military reinforcements on the Tur Al‑Baha front and the Taiz axis. The operation involved fighter jets, drones, artillery, missiles and snipers, he said. “The Houthi militia’s capabilities will not be safe from the fire of our armed forces, and we will destroy them,” the spokesman declared. According to the statement, the strikes killed or neutralized 260 Houthi fighters and destroyed or disabled 44 military vehicles, including supply and transport trucks. Earlier in the week, the military also announced a high‑value targeting operation in Sanaa that struck 11 additional targets in Saada.
