Welsh rider Zoe Backstedt has successfully defended her 2026 Baloise Ladies Tour title, a year after becoming the youngest champion of the race.
The 21‑year‑old’s performance included a victory in the stage 3A time trial on Saturday, finishing with a provisional overall time of 11 hours, 27.08 minutes.
Only one second separated the Netherlands’ Nienke Veenhoven—who won the final stage—from Australia’s Felicity Wilson‑Haffenden, who trailed 22 and 23 seconds behind Backstedt.
English contender Millie Couzens finished fifth, trailing the Netherlands’ Charlotte Kool.
