Hong Kong police have arrested a 38-year-old man for driving under the influence of drugs following a three-vehicle crash that led to two people being hospitalised.
Police said they received a report at 1.48pm on Saturday of a traffic accident along Pok Fu Lam Road involving a large truck and two light goods vehicles.
The force said the 38-year-old driver of one of the light goods vehicles failed a drug test that was administered at the scene.
He was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm.
The 61-year-old male driver of the other light goods vehicle and a 59-year-old female passenger were injured during the accident and were sent to Queen Mary Hospital in Pok Fu Lam for treatment.
The force added that the 56-year-old male driver of the large truck also complained of chest pain following the incident, but refused medical treatment.
