PONS traded at $0.5978 on its Uniswap pool as of September 3, representing a 31.82% gain over the past 24 hours and an incredible 181-fold increase from its July 17 low of $0.0033.
The token surpassed CashCat in late August to become the largest cryptocurrency on Robinhood Chain by market capitalization, with Binance Wallet adding it to its Alpha trading tier on September 2.
The Pons platform generated $5.95 million in daily fees on September 3, ranking fourth among all crypto protocols tracked by DefiLlama and briefly outperforming Robinhood Chain itself.
PONS is the native token of the Pons application, currently dominating the red-hot Robinhood Chain network as its top-performing cryptocurrency.
PONS is the backbone of Pons, the premier meme coin factory on Robinhood Chain. This launchpad allows users to easily create tokens centered around jokes or internet trends without requiring any actual product. For those familiar with the Pump.fun application on the Solana ecosystem, the concept will feel highly familiar.

The token was trading at $0.5978 on its Uniswap pool as of September 3, supported by a market capitalization exceeding $430 million, marking a 31.82% increase over the last 24 hours. For early adopters, a $1,000 investment made at the token’s lowest point of approximately $0.0033 on July 17 would now be valued at around $181,000.
The Pons platform functions much like a vending machine for launching new cryptocurrencies. Users can select a name, ticker, and image, and the platform will instantly deploy a token with a fixed 1 billion supply directly into a trading pool. This process requires no coding, team allocation, or waiting time. Crucially, Pons never holds user funds; all launches and trades are executed directly through the creator’s personal wallet.
Pons operates exclusively on Robinhood Chain, a layer-2 blockchain network launched by the trading platform Robinhood on July 1. This network processes transactions on a faster, cheaper layer-2 rail before settling back to the Ethereum mainnet. While Robinhood originally designed the chain for tokenized stocks and decentralized finance applications, meme coins have driven the vast majority of its initial traffic.
Pons serves as the default platform on Robinhood Chain for launching and trading new meme tokens, mirroring the role that Pump.fun plays on the Solana network. Going live shortly after Robinhood Chain’s mainnet launch, Pons quickly absorbed the majority of the network’s activity following the sudden shutdown of an early competitor, Noxa, on July 11.
PONS began trading on July 15 at a fraction of a cent, bottoming out two days later before rallying to $0.066 by July 27 as Pons established itself as the chain’s most active launchpad.
This initial upward momentum was disrupted by market competition. In early August, Uniswap—already the primary decentralized exchange on Robinhood Chain—introduced its own zero-fee launchpad, Pools.trade, which rapidly captured half of all launchpad trading volume. This competitive threat caused PONS to plunge to approximately $0.016.
The token’s subsequent recovery was driven by strong tokenomics alongside general market hype. Specifically, 80% of Pons’s revenue is allocated to an automated buyback-and-burn program, utilizing trading fees to purchase and permanently destroy PONS tokens from the open market. To date, approximately 288 million tokens—representing 29% of the original 1 billion supply—have been burned, leaving an effective supply of around 712 million tokens.
PONS staged a powerful breakout during the latter half of August, climbing from roughly $0.03 to a new high of approximately $0.49 by the beginning of September.
In doing so, PONS surpassed CashCat—Robinhood Chain’s original flagship meme coin, named after a brand co-founders Vlad Tenev and Baiju Bhatt initially considered—to secure its position as the network’s largest token by market capitalization.
Robinhood co-founder Vlad Tenev has also noted the ecosystem’s dynamics, explaining on the Iced Coffee Hour podcast with Graham Stephan that holding meme coins on Robinhood Chain can result in receiving stock token airdrops.
On September 2, Binance Wallet integrated PONS into its Alpha trading tier, propelling the token to fresh highs on the following day.

On September 3, the Pons platform recorded $5.95 million in daily fees, a figure that ranked fourth among all crypto protocols tracked by DefiLlama, temporarily surpassing the daily earnings of the Robinhood Chain network itself.
PONS currently trades on Uniswap pools within the Robinhood Chain ecosystem, as well as on centralized exchanges including MEXC, Gate.io, KuCoin, and Binance Alpha, with futures also available on Hyperliquid, Bybit, and Aster. Market capitalization estimates vary depending on the tracker, ranging from $392 million on DefiLlama to $576 million on OpenSea, highlighting the relatively thin and highly volatile nature of the token’s on-chain liquidity.
