Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has confirmed his starting lineup for today’s Premier League clash against Manchester City.
The Red Devils are currently eight points behind league leaders Arsenal, making today’s Manchester derby a must-win fixture to remain in the title race. Carrick has introduced three changes to the team that defeated Sabah 4-0 in the Champions League on Thursday night.
Senne Lammens continues in goal for the Red Devils. In defense, Noussair Mazraoui and Leny Yoro make way, replaced by Diogo Dalot and Harry Maguire. Dalot starts at right-back with Patrick Dorgu on the left, while Maguire partners Lisandro Martinez in central defense.
The midfield remains unchanged, with Youri Tielemans and Kobbie Mainoo operating centrally, and Bruno Fernandes in the attacking midfielder role.
Up front, Benjamin Sesko is benched, making way for Marcus Rashford. Matheus Cunha leads the attack, with Rashford on the left wing and Bryan Mbeumo on the right.
The confirmed Manchester United lineup (4-2-3-1) is: Lammens; Dalot, Maguire, Martinez, Dorgu; Tielemans, Mainoo; Mbeumo, Fernandes, Rashford; Cunha.
