Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sunday that he believes Russia may have transferred jet‑drone technology to its long‑time ally North Korea.
In recent weeks, Russia has intensified its deployment of jet‑drones against Ukraine, for which Kyiv currently lacks effective countermeasures beyond employing its own combat aircraft.
Earlier in the conflict, North Korea supplied Russia with millions of artillery shells and has since delivered ballistic missiles that Moscow regularly uses to strike Ukrainian cities.
When asked whether Russia had shared the technology behind its latest jet‑powered drones with North Korea, Zelensky told reporters, “Yes, of course.”
