JERUSALEM: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has directed a comprehensive security review of all international flights bound for Israel, following an incident in which an Omani co-pilot attempted to crash a FlyDubai flight en route to Tel Aviv.
A statement from the prime minister’s office confirmed that Netanyahu instructed National Security Council head Shmuel Ben Ezra to appoint an examiner to conduct a thorough assessment of all security protocols related to foreign civil aviation operations entering Israeli airspace.
