It appears Aaron Donald could resume his campaign in Week 5.
Although Donald missed Sunday’s victory over the Eagles because of lingering back soreness, head coach Sean McVay informed reporters on Monday that a return looks plausible for the upcoming Monday night game against the Bills.
“It seems clear that the trend points toward a strong comeback,” McVay stated, referencing Stu Jackson, the franchise’s public information lead.
Dealing with back discomfort, Donald has made up 54 % of the Rams’ defensive snaps across two games this season, completing four tackles—including a loss‑seizing and a hit on the opposing quarterback.
In addition, the coaching staff expressed optimism that cornerback Jaylen Watson may be cleared to play this week after missing Sunday’s matchup with a shoulder injury.
The team’s first injury report for the week will be released on Thursday.
