[Captaincy Dilemma: Deciding on João Pedro for FPL Gameweek Six]
Manchester City faces a challenging captaincy spot this week. Haaland is unavailable ahead of Liverpool, while Cole Palmer return from Bournemouth to play at home. Bruno Fernandes also benefits from a home fixture against Spurs.
Fernandes enjoys the most favorable schedule and the strongest potential for a dominant performance, yet ownership appears limited. Among his peers, any player seems open to discussion, though I remain inclined toward staying with Haaland. Regardless of opponent strength, a goal‑scoring City effort still makes Haaland the logical frontrunner.
I would rather consider Saka or Palmer given their home fixtures. My concerns about Saka stem from a possible Havertz shoulder injury that could hinder their attacking output, combined with a late kick‑off following a long break. My reservation with Palmer centers on João Pedro’s fitness; his unavailability was evident when Chelsea struggled at Brentford last season.
