Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur could compete for the signature of striker Nicolo Tresoldi next year.
Nicolo Tresoldi has proven to be an excellent acquisition for Club Brugge, recently delivering a brilliant hat-trick in a 4-3 UEFA Champions League victory over Inter Milan.
AC Milan, Inter’s fierce city rivals, have long admired the talented forward, though reports suggest they may be unable to meet his valuation following their significant investment in Goncalo Ramos.
The Rossoneri appear unlikely to back manager Ruben Amorim with another high-profile striker next season and could instead pursue a more economical option.
That situation could open the door for Arsenal and Tottenham, both of whom have monitored Tresoldi’s progress closely since his move from German football.
Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta maintains a strong working relationship with Club Brugge, having signed Christos Tzolis from the Belgian side last summer.
That connection may give the Gunners an advantage over Tottenham, who are reportedly languishing near the bottom of the league table.
Should Tresoldi join Arsenal, it could prompt the departure of Viktor Gyokeres.
