Before the live broadcast of WWE NXT on October 27 on The CW and Netflix, three matches and segments entertained the audience in attendance.
The pre-show featured two matches and an in-ring confrontation, highlighted by the return of a wrestler who had been sidelined due to injury.
Elio LeFleur made his comeback following surgery to repair a torn labrum, defeating Tristan Angels with a neckscissor slam in his first match since the injury.
Elsewhere, Ame Marie Barnett, introducing herself as “The Duchess,” appeared alongside Adam Brazier for a promotional segment.
They were interrupted by Harley Riggins, sparking a verbal exchange that escalated into a physical altercation, with Brazier sending Riggins out of the ring.
In the other pre-show match, Thea Hail secured a victory over WWE EVOLVE Women’s Champion Nikkita Lyons, forcing her to submit to a Kimura Lock in a non-title contest.
Both competitors donned Halloween-themed ring gear for the occasion, with Lyons wearing an outfit inspired by Margot Robbie’s portrayal of Harley Quinn.
