With a modest budget of 90 lakh, the lowest among all five franchises, the Mumbai Indians Women entered the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2027 Auction with a clear strategy. Despite the limited purse, the Harmanpreet Kaur-led team, who are two-time champions having won the inaugural 2023 edition and the 2025 tournament, managed to make highly effective additions to their squad. The franchise focused on bolstering their squad with targeted acquisitions, ensuring a balanced and competitive roster for the upcoming season.
