A drone attack struck Iraq’s Khor Mor gas field on Sunday, targeting one of the largest energy installations in the Kurdistan region, according to two security sources. Witnesses reported smoke rising from the complex following the assault.
An engineer working at the facility confirmed that a gas storage unit sustained a direct hit during the incident. The extent of the damage and any potential impact on production operations remain unclear as assessments continue.
