Srixon announced its latest ZXi RKT driver lineup during the Travelers Championship.
No technical specifications have been released, and our inquiry received a brief “no comment…yet” message from the team.
Based on the photographs, here are three key observations.
1) Three Variants in the New Family
The lineup features three models. The LS model showcases a compact pear shape with two adjustable weights that move the launch and spin control from front to back.
The core ZXi RKT model offers two heel‑to‑toe customization weights and appears to be the most adaptable in the series. Notably, it lacks a rear weight; the chassis may serve as a fixed load to maintain a consistent moment of inertia regardless of weight placement.
The ZXi RKT MAX contains a single rear weight, suggesting a focus on stability and straightforward launch characteristics. This three‑model structure represents a significant evolution from the previous generation.
2) Expanded Carbon Fiber Usage

The increased carbon‑fiber content, coupled with new “player” shapes, allows the drivers to offer more precise weight distribution. Wider‑set weights provide greater center‑of‑gravity adjustments and enhanced stability across the various settings. The carbon frame also contributes to a higher overall moment of inertia.
This combination of materials and design yields what many consider the most advanced Srixon driver shape to date.
3) Addressing the Sound Issue

The primary criticism of the earlier ZXi line was its loud, high‑pitched sound profile, which many players found uncomfortable. Srixon’s Acousticore labeling on the soles suggests a concerted effort to smooth both tone and feel, potentially addressing the issue through proprietary damping materials or design tweaks.
4) Continued Support for Tour Players

Srixon’s alignment includes specialized models for prominent tour golfers, such as Hideki Matsuyama, Shane Wang, Ryan Fox, Sepp Straka, and JJ Spaun. This indicates a robust commitment to providing tailored equipment for professional play.
