Netanyahu Concludes Testimony After 98 Appearances in Bribery and Fraud Trial

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave his final testimony in the criminal trial on Wednesday, bringing his total to 98 appearances. He shuffled between the courthouse, security briefings, and the Knesset as he worked to steady a fragile coalition.

The case is now in the limited re‑examination phase, during which the defense seeks to clarify issues raised by the prosecution in cross‑examination.

The next steps involve the defense re‑examining additional witnesses before the Jerusalem District Court. Netanyahu’s testimonies were transferred to the Tel Aviv District Court for security reasons.

In 2020, Netanyahu was indicted on charges of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust across three separate cases—known as Cases 1000, 2000, and 4000.
