Liven Pharma Limited announced on Wednesday that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with China’s TOFFLON Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd.
The company disclosed the agreement in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange today.
TOFFLON ranks among the world’s leading technology firms and manufacturers of pharmaceutical, biotech, and aseptic processing equipment, production systems, and advanced manufacturing solutions.
The agreement was signed for TOFFLON by Michael Chang, Senior Vice President, and Kaashif Hussain, Chief Executive Officer of Liven Pharma Limited.
“This strategic milestone is a key component of Liven Pharma Limited’s Vision 2030, which seeks to evolve the company into a fully integrated pharmaceutical and biotechnology enterprise by acquiring world‑class manufacturing technologies, localizing advanced production capabilities, and developing Pakistan’s high‑value pharmaceutical and biological manufacturing infrastructure,” the company stated.
Furthermore, Liven noted that the partnership is expected to accelerate its long‑term Vision 2030 goals, which include localizing sophisticated pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing, boosting export competitiveness, strengthening national healthcare infrastructure, and reducing dependence on imported high‑value biological products.
Liven Pharma Limited was incorporated in Pakistan as a private limited company on October 21, 1991, and later converted to a public limited company on April 30, 1992, under the Companies Ordinance 1984 (which was repealed when the Companies Act 2017 took effect).
The company’s principal activity is the manufacture of pharmaceuticals and related products.
