The June 27Temper closing ceremony featured standout performances, including a rendition of Elvis Presley’s “Suspicious Minds” by Brandi Carlile and R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe.
Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme delivered a cover of Tom Petty’s “Running Down a Dream”, while Charlotte Lawrence performed Blondie’s “Heart of Glass”.
Additional acts featured Danielle Haim, Warren Haynes, and Robert Randolph, with the night’s backing ensemble led by Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and producer‑musician Andrew Watt.

Chad Smith’s appearance at the 2026 closing ceremony follows his guest spot on The Rolling Stones’ forthcoming album “Foreign Tongues”, slated for release on Friday, July 10.
Contributors to the album also include Paul McCartney, Robert Smith of The Cure, and Bruno Mars, and itADER covers a version of Amy Winehouse’s “You Know I’m No Good”.
