Captain D’s has further expanded its footprint in Texas with the opening of a new seafood restaurant in Corsicana.
This new location marks the company’s inaugural outlet between the Dallas and Houston metro areas, bringing the total count of Texas restaurants to 19.
The freestanding unit spans approximately 1,950 square feet and accommodates up to 44 guests.
The site showcases Captain D’s signature coastal-inspired design aesthetic.
Owned and operated by multi-unit franchisee Joseph Omobogie, the location is part of a portfolio that also includes Golden Chick, Marco’s Pizza, Thai Express, and Tropical Smoothie Cafe.
Brad Reed, Chief Development Officer at Captain D’s, commented that Joseph is a seasoned, growth-focused operator who excels at scaling successful restaurant concepts.
“His expansion into Corsicana aligns with our broader Texas growth strategy and strengthens brand connectivity across major metropolitan markets.”
Earlier this year, Captain D’s opened another new restaurant in Gainesville, Florida.
The 2,172-square-foot end-cap unit offers operational advantages and features a drive-through along with a dining room that seats 36 patrons.
Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, Captain D’s operates over 530 locations across 23 U.S. states and three international markets.
