Greg Freeman has revealed plans for a new album accompanied by a sprawling international tour stretching across Europe and North America. The itinerary kicks off with a summer run of festival appearances and headline shows overseas before shifting to an extensive autumn trek across the United States and Canada.
The European leg begins July 21 at Brooklyn’s Union Pool before heading to Portugal’s Paredes de Coura Festival (August 12), Sweden’s Way Out West (August 14), and a series of UK dates including Bristol’s The Louisiana (August 17) and two nights at London’s MOTH Club (August 18–19). Additional stops include Manchester’s YES (August 20), Wales’ Green Man Festival (August 21), Belgium’s Pukkelpop (August 22), Zurich’s Bogen F (August 25), Paris’ Supersonic (August 27), and Dutch festivals Hit the City (August 28) and Into The Great Wide Open (August 29).
The North American segment launches October 20 at Cambridge’s The Sinclair and weaves through Toronto, the Midwest, the Mountain West, the Pacific Northwest, California, the Southwest, the Southeast, and the East Coast, concluding November 21 at South Burlington’s Higher Ground Ballroom. Key venues include Chicago’s Lincoln Hall, Seattle’s Tractor Tavern, San Francisco’s The Independent, Austin’s Antone’s Nightclub, Atlanta’s Masquerade, and New York’s Webster Hall.
A rotating cast of support acts will join Freeman on select dates. Wendy Eisenberg opens the Brooklyn show; Hello Shark accompanies the early October Midwest run; Walker Rider appears on the late October dates; Trinity Ace supports the Mountain West and Pacific Northwest stretch; Touch Girl Apple Blossom joins for the Texas and Southeast shows; and Robber Robber rounds out the final East Coast leg.
