Beijing — Rescuers are searching for 23 missing crew members after a Vietnamese cargo ship sank in the South China Sea, Chinese state media reported on Sunday morning.
The vessel Khoi Nguyen 18 ran into difficulty near Yongshu Reef, also referred to as Fiery Cross Reef, with 39 individuals rescued, according to state broadcaster CCTV.
