WASHINGTON, Aug 25 (Reuters) – U.S. CIA Director John Ratcliffe traveled to Russia for meetings in Moscow on Tuesday, U.S. media outlets reported, citing unnamed sources.
CBS News and Axios reported the visit by the former director of national intelligence under President Donald Trump, who now leads the CIA. The reports did not disclose who Ratcliffe met with or the anticipated agenda of the talks.
CIA representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment, while Kremlin officials could not be reached for immediate reaction.
