KABUL, October 5 (Reuters) — Taliban Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi stated that the ongoing challenges between Afghanistan and Pakistan can be addressed through dialogue and diplomacy.
Muttaqi added that Pakistan’s military has adopted a solely military stance rather than seeking political understanding, and Afghanistan regards any act of aggression as a legitimate and unavoidable right of self‑defence.
His comments, made at a Russian event, came amid spiralling military tensions between the two former allies.
