Ali G Ropes Noel Gallagher Into New Movie Promo

Ten years ago, Noel Gallagher remarked that his children attend private school to avoid coming home shouting like Ali G. Now the Oasis legend has been approached to promote the comedian’s new movie, Ali G: Who Iz I?

In a recent video, Sacha Baron Cohen appeared at a screening of his film and attempted to mock Noel Gallagher. He quipped, “You look like one of the Oasis twins, innit?” prompting Noel to stand up to face the audience. The clip noted that this 50‑year‑old white man is trying to make a comeback after two decades, a move that some view as naïve.

Amazon/MGM limited the initial rollout, making this promotional effort indispensable. Yesterday Noel appeared on Chicken Shop Date, where he ridiculed vegetarians and made a playful joke about the title “Champagne Supernova.” The comedian remains active in his comedy career.
