Ukraine’s access to Starlink and Starshield satellite communications has been reinstated to full operational speeds following more than a week of restricted connectivity that impacted frontline operations, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who announced the restoration on Saturday.
“The speeds are now where they need to be,” Zelensky stated on social media, noting that service improvements began overnight and were fully functional by Saturday morning, enhancing frontline logistics and defensive capabilities against Russian unmanned aerial vehicles.
The recovery comes amid renewed U.S. diplomatic efforts aimed at resolving the conflict, with Russia agreeing on Wednesday to resume trilateral negotiations with Washington and Kyiv scheduled for next month.
