Alien Sound Festival Postponed After Main Stage Collapse During Setup in Naples]

Alien Sound Festival in Naples has been postponed following the collapse of its main stage during setup due to strong winds. The Latin and electronic music event was scheduled to take place at the former NATO base in Bagnoli on July 4 and 5, featuring performances by Ozuna, Gordo, Anuel AA, and Myke Towers.

Video footage from earlier this week showed the festival’s main stage collapsing as high winds impacted Naples and the surrounding province. Additional structures, including lighting towers, were also damaged during the severe weather, though no injuries were reported as the stage area was unoccupied at the time.

Following initial hopes that the event might proceed as planned, local authorities intervened to officially postpone the two-day festival. The event will now take place as a single combined show on July 23 at the same venue.

Existing tickets for July 4 and 5 remain valid for the rescheduled date, with refund requests accepted from July 24 through original points of purchase. The festival organizers issued a statement acknowledging the inconvenience, saying: “We know how much this situation may have caused inconvenience and disappointment. However, we would like to assure you that we did everything in our power to allow the festival to take place on the originally scheduled dates. We thank you for the trust, patience and support you continue to show us.”

Several weather-related disruptions have affected festivals this summer, including cancellations at Primavera Sound and outdoor performances impacted by thunderstorms.
