Alison Krauss and Union Station Cancel Tour Dates for Vocal Health

Alison Krauss and Union Station have announced the cancellation of all remaining dates on their Arcadia tour. The decision was made after Krauss was advised by medical professionals to prioritize her vocal health with a period of rest.

The band shared the news via social media, stating, “It is with great regret that Alison Krauss & Union Station have announced the cancellation of our upcoming tour dates. After consulting with medical professionals, Alison has been advised to take a period of vocal rest to ensure a full and healthy recovery.”

The canceled shows include performances in Davenport, Iowa; St. Louis; Austin; Las Vegas; and San Francisco, as well as a scheduled three-night run at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.

All tickets for the affected concerts will be fully refunded. Ticketholders are encouraged to reach out to their original point of purchase for assistance.

The Arcadia tour was in support of the band’s first album together in 14 years, titled Arcadia. The record features contemporary reflections on history and includes contributions from songwriters such as JD McPherson and Sarah Siskind. This album marks Krauss’s first release with Union Station since Paper Airplane in 2011.
