According to military assessments, six missiles fired from Navy aircraft were directed at a communications facility located in the coastal Iranian town of Kuhestak. However, one of the munitions reportedly deviated from its intended trajectory, leading to what investigators now believe was the accidental strike on a nearby wedding gathering that resulted in multiple casualties.
