Andrade El Idolo Gears Up for MLP Northern Rising Showdown

AEW star Andrade El Idolo is set to compete at MLP Northern Rising in early October. The promotion confirmed that the AEW National Champion responded to an open challenge issued by Rohit Raju, making the match official for the event.

Additionally, 1st Faction—comprising Sheldon Jean and Brent Banks—will defend the MLP Canadian Tag Team Championships in a three‑way tag team match against Sinner & Saint and the Grizzled Young Veterans.

The updated card for MLP Northern Rising is shown below. The show will take place at the Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto, Ontario on October 3 and will be broadcast live on MyAEW.

* MLP Canadian Championship Unification Match: Josh Alexander vs. Stu Grayson.
* MLP Canadian Women’s Championship Match: Gisele Shaw vs. Nikki Storm.
* MLP Canadian Tag Team Championship Match: 1st Faction vs. vs. Sinner & Saint vs. Grizzled Young Veterans.
* Adam Copeland vs. Steve Maclin.
* Andrade El Idolo vs. Rohit Raju.
