Growing demand for AI architecture fuels company growth as it expands into physical chip production

TAIPEI — In a significant shift in the competitive landscape against Intel and AMD, SoftBank-backed Arm has reached a major milestone. A senior executive revealed to Nikkei Asia that Arm’s chip architecture now powers more than 50% of the hyperscale cloud computing market, driven by the rapid evolution of the data center industry to meet AI demands.
