Following Chelsea’s successful pursuit of Morgan Rogers, Arsenal are reportedly considering a move for Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola.
Arsenal’s efforts to secure Rogers from Aston Villa ended in disappointment after Chelsea intervened, agreeing to a club-record fee of £117m to hijack the transfer.
This setback in the market has left the Gunners in need of an alternative option to strengthen their left-wing position.
Speculation regarding Barcola’s potential move to North London has persisted for several weeks, with sources suggesting Arsenal are now evaluating the feasibility of a deal for the Frenchman.
While PSG have traditionally been reluctant to sell their star talent, their pursuit of RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande may shift their stance.
Such a departure could facilitate Barcola’s exit, though Arsenal should expect to pay a premium, as PSG’s valuation is reportedly upwards of £125m.
While Arsenal have already secured the signing of Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge, he is currently viewed primarily as a depth option rather than a primary starter.
