Arsenal have reached an agreement on a transfer fee to sell Belgian attacker Leandro Trossard to Besiktas.
The 31-year-old forward has been granted permission to travel to Istanbul to complete his medical examination.
Trossard, who joined the Gunners from Brighton in January 2023 for an initial £21m plus add-ons, was under contract with the North London club until 2027.
During his tenure at Arsenal, Trossard contributed 36 goals and 34 assists in 174 appearances, playing a vital role in Mikel Arteta’s Premier League title-winning campaign last season.
He was a mainstay for Arteta last term, making 21 league appearances and starting in the Champions League final against Paris St-Germain.
On the international stage, Trossard featured in all six matches during Belgium’s World Cup quarter-final run this summer, contributing two goals.
