As part of NASA’s ongoing Inspiration Tour, astronaut Christina Koch will highlight America’s leadership in space exploration and aeronautics innovation at the Philadelphia Eagles vs. Los Angeles Rams game on Sunday, October 4.
A dedicated Philadelphia sports fan, Koch is an accomplished explorer and engineer with 338 days in space across two missions, including serving as a mission specialist for the Artemis II mission earlier this year. She launched aboard the Orion spacecraft atop the Space Launch System rocket on April 1 and completed a historic lunar flyby, marking humanity’s first return to the Moon’s vicinity in over half a century.
NASA personnel will interact with fans at the Experience Zone outside the stadium from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. before the game. Attendees can explore NASA’s Artemis program, participate in interactive activities, and take photos at a selfie station and alongside a large, inflatable NASA logo.
The Inspiration Tour travels nationwide, convening academic, industry, and public sector stakeholders to connect the agency with the people, technologies, and organizations driving American leadership in space.
The tour culminates in MAX POWER, a public exposition of American air and space innovation, on November 7 and 8 at and near Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Celebrating America’s 250th anniversary, this family-friendly event will feature next-generation aircraft, spacecraft, autonomous vehicles, and technologies shaping the future of transportation.
