Former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Asuka and Kairi Sane recently reunited off‑camera as part of Asuka’s YouTube channel.
The video captured them celebrating Kairi’s birthday, which fell on September 23, 2026, when she turned 38.
They previously teamed in WWE as the Kabuki Warriors, holding the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, and each is a former NXT Women’s Champion.
Sane was released from WWE earlier this year, having been central to the on‑screen feud between Asuka and IYO SKY.
At Backlash 2026, Asuka stepped away from in‑ring competition after losing to SKY, but she has affirmed that she remains with WWE.
It is expected that Asuka will resume wrestling, albeit less frequently. She signed with WWE in 2015 and holds the record for the longest undefeated streak in recent decades.
