As the Atlanta Falcons prepare for the upcoming training camp, the organization has made a roster adjustment involving one of its recent draft selections. According to the NFL’s official transaction report released Saturday, the team has placed defensive tackle Anterio Thompson on the Non-Football Injury (NFI) list.

Thompson, a sixth-round selection during the April draft, brings a diverse collegiate background to the roster, having played for Iowa, Western Michigan, and Washington over the past three seasons. During his most recent campaign with the Huskies, he recorded 30 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks.

The Falcons’ rookie class officially reported to camp on Friday. Veteran players are expected to arrive this Tuesday, with the team’s first official practice scheduled to commence on Wednesday.
