DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Bahrain accused Iran on Saturday of carrying out a fresh drone strike aimed at the island nation.
The Bahraini Foreign Ministry released a statement indicating that multiple Iranian drones had struck the country, though it did not specify the intended target.
Iran has not yet publicly claimed responsibility for the incident.
Bahrain hosts the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet.
